Learning Objectives:

  • Describe the key elements of the Water Laboratory Response Plan (WLA-RP), including Water Sector best practices for emergency response.
  • Describe the roles that laboratories and others would have when they participate in a response to a water contamination incident.
  • Identify EPA Water Security tools.
  • Build relationships between laboratories, water utilities, and other stakeholders.

Target Audience: Water utility operators/managers; laboratories; first responders; public information officers; and local, state, and federal agencies.

 

Accessing Laboratory Support – An Interactive Guide

This webinar will introduce the Accessing Laboratory Support resource. This resource is an interactive guide which shows how to access lab support at the local, state, regional and federal levels. It includes examples of when this help may be needed and supplies a one-page summary sheet that lists key information for finding support.
This webinar will cover the following:
  • A description of potential users who may need to identify analytical support;
  • An overview of options available for identifying analytical support; and
  • Highlight key water security resources to aid analytical response.
